App web 2.0 for listening skill

  1. Sometimes, simple is best. PowerPoint is a reliable tool and it gets the job done, and so was the case with this presentation. The information you shared with us was interesting and useful, though I would suggest a better distribution when making your slides. Some of them were too crammed with text, which made them look cumbersome.
The tool you propose sounds simple to use and useful for learners of all levels. To have a wide selection of topics to choose from and both audio and transcript is an appealing feature, very appropriate for the topics we're working on.

  2. Well done girls! I really like your presentation. You use PowerPoint and it was excellent because it is a common tool that we know how to use it very well. Therefore, you were very clear in the information that you share with us. Using spotlight you can improve the listening skill of students in whatever level not only in English 1 because this application has a lot of topics with audio and transcripts that students could listen and read a topic that they have some interest also they can practice their skill.

  3. Well, girls, I must say, congratulations. You did a great job. I guess I should start with my minor inconvenients, I didn't appreciate it as much having to "read" a ton of information on each slide. Maybe, you guys could have chose only the most important details for presenting this app.
Other than that, everything else was great. I really liked the app you guys chose. I like how easy it is to use. I like the fact that this app can help learners in many topics. The variety of topics is a big plus.
Keep up the good work, girls.

  4. Although you guys did your presentation using Power Point, it was nice! The way you organized the information and how you presented it to us was adequate! Well done :)
I liked that app you used. The first time I heard the name I thought about "Spotify" then I realized that they are two different tools; similar but each one with different uses. I also realized that we have used "Spotlight" before! I can't remember if it was in "Listening & Speaking in English" or with teacher Borges, in English Three. But I'm sure we have used it doing activities in moodle, and it worked! It was a nice tool in which we were able to listen current issues and doing activities related to it.
You did a great job explaining us about this app. No doubt that it would be useful if we implement it at the time of learning English and improving our listening skills.

I had thought that Ambar & Monse were the only ones who implemented the mobile learning, but you are also implementing it since this app can be downloaded in our phones! :)
